Meditation/visualisation session to start
- concentrate on surrendering, stillness, serenity and contentment
- breathe to settle then so will tension
- visualise the centre of the forehead 'this is where you sit being in the now'
- look at what makes you happy visualise it then take notice of how you feel when you visualise it. Use this image when you need a lift
- connect with self, to connect to the source of all power ie you
We also tried to concentrate on a candle and keep our eyes open - to learn how to deal with distractions so that we focus and concentrate on what is important.
Afterwards we had a discussion on happiness.
We discussed the concept that you need to look at opening your ajna chakra at the brow space ie your 3rd eye. See truely at this space in how you deal with life, ie the concept of your authentic self, feeling the vibration and energy at the 3rd eye.
We discussed that only your own thoughts can make you unhappy. Other people for example can criticise you, but you have to accept that their words are true, and have power over you and that your views are flawed. If you hear what they have to say but listen openly, honestly and truely and still feel that your authentic self is true then acknowledge their words but don't think about them further. Don't give them further energy or time.
We then discussed the concept of energy and how we all look at body maintenance physically, but not mentally. We want our body to feel healthy, alive, happy and renewed with life but we don't consider this of the mind as well. Think of how pure and innocent kids are and generally how happy and contented they are. Wouldn't you like to experience that as well.
Start to be aware of how you talk to yourself during the day and look to stop any negative words with words, thoughts or ideas that you can achieve. Look inwards, stabalise then you can look outwards. Observe your path and if you don't like the path you are on change it.
so to finish - when you go to bed really concentrate on closing your day and clearing your mind. Then create any feeling you want that uplifts you.
then when you wake up do the same thing but try and hold that feeling for the rest of the day.
